I have been playing Tekken Revolution for the past couple of days and am really enjoying it. I think I’m...
I have a date today.
We’re going to look for yard sales (even though it’s raining) and then tonight we’re going to an izakaya to drink with some of my work buddies.
March 20, 2013: Today I wore a kimono for the first time.
I performed in the Hagoita Battle event as part of Japan Week at Grand Central station with one of my friends. It took FOREVER to put on kimono and it was difficult to breathe, but the reward of the experience outweighed the discomfort. I can’t wait for the next time I can be a part of something like this.
Aish, and now back to midterms mode.
January 28, 2013: First day back at Baruch!
My Monday/Wednesday schedule is definitely a doozy: three classes back to back (to back). All my professors seem like reasonable people, so I guess it’s not terrible, but I just wish I had a longer break in between each class so I could hang out in the Japan Club office.
This is actually a picture my friend took in the office. I was eating my little container of popcorn and she thought it was cute, hahaha.
I absolutely LOVE my Japanese literature class, like I knew I would. I literally just want to read Japanese literature and never do anything else. There are about 30 readings this semester and I want to read them all tonight. IS THAT STRANGEEEEEEE?
January 5, 2013: Uh… face of the day? I’m meeting my friend that I’ve known for more than 8 years at Paris Baguette so I wanted to look as French as possible.
haha a joke jaja.
Friday, September 28, 2012: “Can you take a picture of me? It’s for my blog.”
I asked my brother to take a picture of my outfit, so the quality isn’t ass.
I put my hair in a messy braid because my hair and humidity don’t do well together. (Does anyone’s hair do “well” with humidity?) Mom’s 70s-80s vintage blue collared shirt. You can’t see it in this picture, but my mom embroidered a tiger on the back of it. Regular blue jeans. Happy chicken socks. Grey suede booties. (Suede was an awesome choice for a rainy day.)
